Analysis of the Impact of Ring on the Neps of Yarn
In order to improve spinning quality and production efficiency,taking the spinning of 36.4 tex,CJ 14.6 tex,viscose/cotton 50/50 27.8 tex+77.7 dtex elastic yarn,and C 36.4 tex+77.7 dtex elastic yarn as examples,a comparative analysis is conducted using statistical data to examine the impact of ring type,cross-sectional shape,and usage time on yarn breakage in per thousand spindle hour,hairiness index,and neps per kilometer.It is pointed out that the spin-ning with corrugated shape,wide semicircle shape and round back and flat foot section ring has less abrasion,faster heat dissipation,better operation stability and less neps.Low bow shape ring is suitable for spinning fine yarn,with moderate left and right channel,low mass center and stable operation.High bow shape ring has high mass center,unstable operation and poor heat dissipation performance,and is suitable for spinning coarse low spinning speed yarn.When the ring has a long service life,the yarn quality indicators such as yarn breakage in per thousand spindle hour,hairiness index,and neps per kilometer tend to worsen.The selection of ring type and determination of its service life should be considered comprehensively based on the type of yarn and the requirements of yarn quality indicators.Meanwhile,proper cleaning should be car-ried out during the spinning process.
