A Preliminary Study on a Rapid Method for Determining Available Potassium and Exchangeable Potassium,Sodium and Magnesium in Soil
A new method has been developed to quickly determine the content of available potassium and exchangeable potassium, sodium and magnesium in soil.Three soil standard substance samples with different acidity and alkalinity were selected for testing and validation. The samples were pretreated with 1 mol/L ammonium acetate solution for 30 minutes and measured using an inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometer. The results were accurate and reliable, with high precision, good stability, and less time required.Research showed that this method was suitable for the determination of available potassium, exchangeable potassium, sodium, magnesium in moderately acidic soil, and available potassium, exchangeable potassium, sodium in alkaline soil.
