Research Advances of Humic Acid on Promoting Legume Growth and Its Mechanisms
The symbiotic nitrogen fixation between legumes and rhizobia is an important physiological feature.Improving the growth of legumes and enhancing their nitrogen fixation ability is not only conducive to the improvement of their own yield, but also can reduce the application of nitrogen fertilizer in agricultural production.Humic acid,as an environmentally friendly natural plant growth regulator, has been widely concerned by researchers to increase the yield and improve the quality of legume plants, and its mechanism has been well analyzed in recent years. In this study, the effects of humic acid on legume nodulation, growth and yield were summarized, and the mechanism was focused on rhizobia growth, host metabolism and plant microbiome. At the same time, the future research direction and application prospect of humic acid were prospected to provide a theoretical basis for more extensive and in-depth research of humic acid and its efficient application in agricultural production.
