甲基磺酸乙酯(ethy methan sulfonate,EMS)是一种应用广泛的化学诱变剂,在植物突变体库构建、种质资源创制、功能基因分析等方面有重要应用.种子萌发是指种子从吸水膨胀到胚轴伸出的一系列有序的生理过程和形态发生过程.本综述简述了EMS诱变原理、优点、种子萌发所需的基本条件,综述了EMS对不同植物种子萌发的影响及EMS诱变可能激发抑制植物种子萌发的基因或改变植物种子萌发基因等方面的进展,并对今后EMS诱变对种子萌发影响方面的研究作出展望.
Ethymethan sulfonate (EMS) is a kind of chemical mutagen,which widely use in many aspects.It has important applications in plant mutant library construction,germplasm creation,functional gene analysis and so on.Seed germination is a series of orderly physiological and morphogenesis processes from seeds water swelling to hypocotyl extension,The review briefly described the mutation principle and advantages of EMS,and the basic conditions for seed germination.Besides,the paper reviewed the progress on the aspects of the effects of EMS on different plant seeds germination,the possibility of EMS mutagenesis stimulated genes inhibiting plant seed germination or changed its germination genes.And finally presented some future prospects on the effects of EMS on seed germination.
