Diversity of Ornamental Horticultural Plant Resources in North China and the Selection Strategy for Urban and Rural Greening
As an important geographical region in China,North China boasts a rich diversity of ornamental horticultural plants. This research systematically organizes and analyzes the ornamental horticultural plant resources of the region and explores their selection strategies for urban and rural greening.Through our study,we found that strategies such as localization selection, multifunctional configuration, intelligent management, and participatory design play a significant role in greening.Native plants are not only adapted to the local climate but also bring multiple benefits in terms of ecology, economy, and society.Additionally,by integrating modern technology and resident participation,a more diversified demand for urban and rural greening can be better met. This research aims to provide a scientific and rational reference for greening efforts in North China and can also offer insights for other regions.
