Innovative Analysis of New Technologies and Ornamental Plant Resources in Landscape Architecture
This study aims to delve deeply into the application of new technologies in the field of ornamental plant resources for landscape architecture and to analyze their impact on the innovation of these resources. The research systematically introduces gene editing technologies, especially the CRISPR/Cas9 system, and how they offer a more precise and efficient means for breeding ornamental plants.Such technologies have achieved breeding objectives that traditional methods could not, such as disease resistance, color variation, and growth habit optimiza-tion.The study also delves into the application of drone monitoring technology in the maintenance of ornamental plants, like precise fertilization, pest and disease detection, and environmental response, which significantly en-hances the management efficiency and survival rate of landscape plants. Moreover, information technology,particu-larly the Internet of Things(IoT)and big data, also provides robust support for the innovation of ornamental plant resources, such as predicting plant growth trends through data analysis and implementing precise irrigation. The research further discusses the application of 3D printing technology in landscape design, such as printing customized plant pots and auxiliary tools to better meet the demands of modern landscape design.Faced with the immense opportunities and a series of challenges and ethical issues that new technologies bring to the innovation of orna-mental plant resources, this study hopes to provide the landscaping industry with a clear and systematic technolo-gical application framework and offer valuable references and recommendations for relevant enterprises and research institutions.
