Application of Plant Patterns in Modern Ecological Architecture:The Green Integration of Buildings
With the increasing prominence of global ecological sustainability issues,the design and practice of mod-em ecological architecture have become particularly crucial.This study systematically explores the application of plant patterns in modern ecological architecture,emphasizing their significance in harmoniously integrating build-ings with the natural environment.This research briefly outlines the definition and origins of plant patterns and delves into their diverse applications in ecological buildings,including mimicking plant forms and functions to opti-mize building energy efficiency and comfort,as well as employing plant patterns to achieve aesthetic harmony with the surrounding environment.Furthermore,the study deeply investigates the challenges and opportunities plant pat-terns face in modern ecological buildings,and the importance of this integration in steering the architectural industry towards a greener and more sustainable direction.Finally,the research anticipates the future development trends of integrating plant patterns with ecological architecture,hoping to provide valuable references for research and prac-tice in related fields.
