Comprehensive Evaluation of Agronomic Traits in Artemisia argyi Germ-plasm Resources
The comprehensive evaluation of agronomic traits of Artemisia argyi germplasm resources, which would provide theoretical reference for new varieties genetic improvement. In this study,SPSS 25.0 software was used to conduct correlation analysis, principal component analysis, cluster analysis and comprehensive evaluation of 13 agronomic traits of 70 Artemisia argyi germplasm resources. The results showed genetic diversity indexes of 13 agronomic traits were 1.33~2.01,12 agronomic traits more than 1.50,were respectively, accounting for 92.31%of varieties tested. The coefficient variation of 13 agronomic traits ranged from 16.97%to 78.04%,8 agronomic traits with coefficient of variation greater than 30.00%,accounting for 61.54%.There was significant or extremely significant correlation among most agronomic characters.Five principal components reflected most of the informa-tion of 13 agronomic traits, and the cumulative variance contribution rate reached 76.31%.70 Artemisia argyi germplasm resources could be grouped into 2 groups at 12.0 euclidean distance. The Ⅰ group contained 45 vari-eties,which showed four beneficial characters:more leaves in the first branch, longer leaves, wider leaves and higher fresh weight per plant. The second group contained 25 varieties, which showed three beneficial characters:short petiole at the top, high fresh weight of two leaves and short distance between five leaves.According to the comprehensive score(F),the five varieties with the best agronomic traits were selected. The genetic diversity of of 70 Artemisia argyi germplasm resources was high, which would provide theoretical basis for genetic improvement, protection and utilization of germplasms of Artemisia argyi.
