小麦源性麦芽酚(maltol,Mal,3-hydroxy-2-methyl-4-pyrone)是一种生物活性化合物,本研究旨在揭示其对运动能力和能量代谢的影响及机制.通过研究发现,补充小麦源性麦芽酚呈剂量依赖性地延长了力竭时间,显著改善了其运动能力.此外,小麦源性麦芽酚的补充降低了肌肉损伤的指标,表明其具有保护肌肉的潜力.进一步研究揭示,小麦源性麦芽酚提高了糖原储备和脂肪动员,促进了能量供给,同时通过抑制氧化应激,有助于减轻氧化损伤.分子机制研究发现,小麦源性麦芽酚调节了多个与能量代谢相关的基因,包括SIRT1、PGC-1α、HK2和GLUT-4,以及AMPK的激活,这些调控因子共同促进了能量代谢的改善.综合而言,小麦源性麦芽酚可能作为一种潜在的运动补充剂,通过多种途径提高运动能力,保护肌肉,增加能量储备.本研究将为小麦源性麦芽酚的应用提供更多的科学依据,同时为分子植物育种领域的进一步研究提供有益信息.
Effect and Mechanism of Maltol on Exercise Ability and Energy Metabolism in Endurance Training Rats
Maltol(Mal,3-hydroxy-2-methyl-4-pyrone)derived from wheat is a bioactive compound,and this study aims to reveal its effects and mechanisms on exercise ability and energy metabolism.Through research,it has been found that the supplementation of maltol dose-dependently prolonged the exhaustion time and significantly improved their exercise ability.In addition,the supplementation of maltol reduced the indicators of muscle damage,indicating its potential for protecting muscles.Further research reveals that maltol derived from wheat enhances glycogen reserves and fat mobilization,promotes energy supply,and helps alleviate oxidative damage by inhibiting oxidative stress.Molecular mechanism research has found that maltol derived from wheat regulates multiple genes related to energy metabolism,including SIRT1,PGC-1α,HK2 as well as GLUT-4,and AMPK jointly promote the improvement of energy metabolism.Overall,maltol derived from wheat may serve as a potential exercise supplement,improving exercise ability,protecting muscles,and increasing energy reserves through various pathways.This study will provide more scientific basis for the application of maltol derived from wheat,and also provide useful information for further research in the field of molecular plant breeding.
