Prediction and Bioinformatics Analysis of 20S Proteasome Gene Family Members in Populus trichocarpa
20S proteasome is a kind of threonine endopeptidase. In addition to degradating some disordered proteins by self,20S proteasome mainly combines with regulatory factors, participating in ubiquitin-dependent and ubiquitin-independent pathways for protein-specific degradation, then involved in many physiological processes of life, which are very important for normal growth of plants. However, the members of 20S proteasome gene family and its bioinformatics analysis in Populus trichocarpa have not been reported.Based on the 20S proteasome gene family of Arabidopsis thaliana,33 putative members of 20S proteasome gene family were identified. It was found that most of the proteins encoded by 20S proteasome gene family were basic proteins, most of which were hydrophilic and mainly existed in cytoplasm. Many conserved glycine residues were contained in the proteins.According to the phylogenetic tree, the 20S proteasome genes of Saccharomyces cerevisiae,A.thaliana and P.trichocarpa were divided into four subgroups, and tissue-specific expression analysis showed that most 20S proteasome genes were highly expressed in roots and stems. The study identified its gene family members and conducted bioinformatics analysis, providing a theoretical basis for exploring the physiological processes and corresponding mechanisms of 20S proteasome in P.trichocarpa, and can also provide reference for the research of 20S proteasome gene family in other trees.
