Genome-wide Identification and Expression Profiles Analysis of Dof Tran-scription Factors in Maize
In order to study the function of Dof transcription factor family in maize, this study used the bio-infor-mation method to identify the maize Dof transcription factors at genome-wide level, the physicochemical proper-ties,phylogeny relationship, conserved domains, collinearity and expression patterns were systematically analyzed. The results showed that a total of 46 maize Dof transcription factors were identified, and they were unevenly dis-tributed on 9 chromosomes.Multiple sequence alignment revealed that all ZmDof had a conserved C2-C2 zinc finger domain.Phylogenetic analysis showed that Dof could be divided into four subgroups, among which sub-group Ⅰ and Ⅲ were the largest, contained 30 Dof transcription factors in rice,Arabidopsis and maize.Collinearity analysis showed that ZmDof had 22,37 and 37 pairs of collinearity gene pairs with Dof gene of Brachypodium dis-tachyon,rice and sorghum, respectively, indicated that they had good collinearity relationship.Expression pattern analysis showed that all ZmDof genes were specifically expressed, indicating that they played an important role in plant growth and development. This study provides an important basis for further functional analysis of maize Dof transcription factor family.
