Clarify the type of pathogen of T.grandis'Merrillii'root rot disease.The isolated pathogens were tested for pathogenicity and the classification status of the pathogens was determined by using molecular techniques com-bined with morphological identification.T.grandis'Merrillii'disease strains were isolated from tissues,and 12 strains were isolated and purified.After molecular biological identification,these 12 strains were classified into 10 categories,represented by ZJ-1 to ZJ-10.The pathogenicity test of ZJ-1 to ZJ-10 was carried out,and according to Kocher's law,it was confirmed that ZJ-10 is the pathogen of T.grandis'Merrillii'root rot disease.ZJ-10 strain was identified as Fusarium solani by combining morphological characteristics and ITS rDNA sequence.The pathogen causing T.grandis'Merrillii'root rot is Fusarium solani.
