Genome-wide Identification and Expression Profiles of Maize YABBY Transcription Factors
In order to explore the function of YABBY transcription factors in maize,12 YABBY transcription factors were identified by bioinformatics methods at the whole genome level, and their expression patterns were analyzed. The results showed that they were unevenly distributed on 7 maize chromosomes. All ZmYABBY proteins contain a C2-C2 zinc finger domain at the N-terminal and a YABBY domain at the C-terminal.Phylogenetic analysis showed that they could be divided into five subfamilies:FIL,CRC,YAB2,YAB1 and INO.Collinearity analysis showed that ZmYABBY gene had a good collinearity with gramineous plants.Expression pattern analysis showed that ZmYABBY gene was specifically expressed. These results provide a theoretical reference for further study on the function of YABBY gene in maize.
