Identification and Analysis of AUX/IAA Gene Family in Camellia oleifera
In order to obtain the distribution and structural characteristics of Camellia oleifera Aux/IAA gene family,HMM was used to identify Aux/IAA genes in the whole genome of C.oleifera.The results showed that C.oleifera Aux/IAA genes were unevenly distributed in 10 chromosomes;the sequence length and the number of exons vary greatly, the amino acid length ranged from 132 to 1 085,the number of exons was 2 to 16,genes on the same phylo-genetic subgroup had similar exon numbers and motif structures;some Aux/IAA genes of C.oleifera had cis-acting elements in response to auxin,as well as other hormone-responsive motifs and light-responsive elements.Transcrip-tome data showed that CoIAA Chr12_3,CoIAA Chr7_5,CoIAA Chr9_3,CoIAA Chr9_4,CoIAA Chr7_6 genes were highly expressed in C.oleifera flower buds, petals, sepals, stamens, and pistils, which were related to flower forma-tion and development.CoIAA Chr12_5 was highly expressed in seeds, which was associated with seed development. This study provided the basis for the systematic study of Aux/IAA gene family in C.oleifera.
