The Breeding Report of New Tartary Buckwheat Variety'Liangkuqiao1'
'Liangkuqiao1'is a new variety of buckwheat which was obtained by system selection and used 0.3％ ethyl methane sulfonate chemical mutagenized method from'Heifeng1'.In the regional test and the production ex-periment,this variety showed the characteristics of high production,high quality,resistance to lodging,light seed shattering,wide suitability and so on.In 2019 to 2020,the average yield of 2 a of'Liangkuqiao1'was 2 029.5 kg/hm2 and 16.9％ higher than that of the control'Jinqiao6'in regional experiment.The variety was medium and early maturing,the growth period was about 95 days.The grain was long conical,black,seeds weight per-plant was 13.6 g and 1 000-grains weight was 23.0 g.The grain content of crude protein and flavonoids compounds were 13.9％ and 3.68％.It is suitable to be grown in the northern and central tartary buckwheat growing areas of Shanxi Province and similar areas.
