Analysis of Flowering Phenology and Breeding System of Angelica dahurica(Fisch.ex Hoffm.)Benth.et Hook.f.
In order to explore the flowering phenological characteristics and breeding system types of Angelica dahurica(Fisch.ex Hoffm.)Benth.et Hook.f.,the pollen viability,pollen-ovule ratio and hybrid index at different periods of Angelica dahurica at different periods were measured.Combined with artificial pollination experiment, the biological characteristics of flowering were studied. The results showed that the flowering phenological period of Angelica dahurica population was about 30 days, the flowering period of compound umbels was 14~16 days, and the flowering period of single flower was 6~9 days. The pollen-ovule ratio(P/O)was 1 440.5,and the hybridiza tion index(OCI)was 4.Combined with the artificial pollination experiment, the results showed the Angelica da-hurica was self compatible and cross compatible, the mating system was facultative cross type, and Apis mellifera ligustica was the main pollinator. This study can provide a theoretical basis for the cross breeding and product development of A ngelica dahurica.
