Resistance Identification of Bacterial Blight and Resistance Gene Test of Commercial Cultivars of Japonic a Rice in Zhejiang
In this study,seventy-five japonica rice materials including the main cultivars of Zhejiang Province were inoculated with bacterial blight pathogen'Zhe173',and the resistance identification was analyzed at different times after inoculation.Meanwhile,11 resistance genes against bacterial blight, which have been reported were analyzed via functional or linkage molecular markers in resistance materials. The results showed that the conventional japonica rice varieties'ZH18-117','Chunjiangnuo6'and'Xiushui63'displayed the best disease resistance.However,only'Jiayouzhongke2'showed resistance during 13 hybrid japonica rice varieties.During the recommended cultivars of Zhejiang Province, conventional japonica rice'Zhejing99','Jia67'and'Zhongjia8'were tested as resistance, and only'Yongyou538'showed middle resistance in all hybrid japonica rice varieties.Furthermore, with the improvement of resistance, rice could inhibit the spread of disease spots much better during the mature period.Last but not least, molecular marker identification of 11 reported resistance genes has been studied. For Xa1,'Jiayouzhongke2','Zhejing60'and'Zhejing99'have the same band with positive control'Sanhuangzhan2'.For Xa4,four rice varieties,'Xiushui09','Xiushui63','Jiahual'and'Chunjiangl6A'showed the resistance band. The rest resistance materials didn't have tested resistance genes.
