Trade Policy and International Laws and Regulations for Genetically Modified Crops
This study systematically explores the importance of genetically modified crops in international trade policies and laws and regulations on a global scale.Based on the analysis of trade legislation and regulations in different countries,this study delves into the policies and standards of importing countries.In terms of international legal regulations,attention has been paid to the rules of the World Trade Organization(WTO),the Cartagena Pro-tocol on Biosafety,and the Codex Alimentarius Commission(CAC),while revealing the differences in intellectual property,ecological,and environmental risk assessments faced by genetically modified crop trade,as well as issues of public concern and social opposition.By providing future research directions and relevant suggestions,this study aims to provide scientific basis for the prospects of genetically modified crop trade policies and regulations.
