Identification and Expression Pattern of PLATZ Gene Family in Olea eu-ropaea
PLATZ is a zinc finger transcription factor in plants. It plays an important role in regulating gene ex-pression.In order to clarify the characteristics of PLATZ gene family in Olea europaea, which identified and ana-lyzed in this study. The results showed that 29 members of PLATZ gene family were identified in Olea europaea(OePLATZs).The gene structure of OePLATZs was relatively conservative.Chromosome localization indicated that genes were dispersed in chromosomes.Subcellular localization showed that 28 OePLATZs proteins were lo-cated in the nucleus, and OePLATZ3 protein was located in mitochondria.Structural prediction showed that there was a large proportion of random coil in the secondary protein structure, and 29 OePLATZs proteins had α-helix at motif Ⅰ and random coil at motif Ⅱ in the tertiary protein structure.According to the results of gene differential ex-pression,the expression patterns of OePLATZs gene in different tissues were divided into 8 categories, and the up-regulated and down-regulated OePLATZs genes were identified based on the transcriptome data of branches under drought stress.Phylogenetic analysis showed that there was a close relationship between PLATZ gene family in Olea europaea and Arabidopsis thaliana. This study preliminarily identified and analyzed the functions of Olea europaea PLATZ gene family, which provide a basis for further biological research of Olea europaea PLATZ fami-ly transcription factors.
