Assessment of the Position and Role of Plant Diversity in the Competitive-ness of Tourist Destinations
This study delves into the role of plant diversity in the competitiveness of tourism destinations and ana-lyzes its direct and indirect effects on the tourism industry.Taking Hangzhou West Lake Scenic Area and Hainan International Tourism Island as examples,the study found that plant diversity has created unique natural land-scapes for tourist destinations,becoming an important factor in attracting tourists.By comparing and analyzing the competitive differences between rich and lacking plant diversity,the key role of plant diversity in the tourism in-dustry has been revealed.To enhance the competitiveness of tourism destinations,this study proposes sustainable development strategies including protecting endangered plants and ecosystems,promoting ecological education and guided tours,and promoting green tourism.Through these systematic research and analysis,we hope to pro-vide substantial references for the sustainable development of tourism destinations.
