KASP Marker Detection of Functional Genes Related to Quality Traits in 110 Wheat Varieties(Lines)
In order to ascertain the composition of functional markers for quality traits in 110 varieties(lines),we detected these materials with high-throughput KASP markers. These quality traits included 1B/1R translocation line, high molecular weight glutenin subunits(HMW-GS),low molecular weight glutenin subunits(LMW-GS),kernel hardness, flour color, seed color. The results showed the tested materials contained 1B/1R translocation lines with the proportion of 43.64%.HMW-GS genes Glu-Ax1 and Glu-Ax2*accounted for 50.91%and 3.64%,re-spectively,and the proportion of 1Dx5+1Dy10 at Glu-Dl loci was 16.36%.The proportion of the favorable allele for kernel hardness detected by Pina-D1b and Pinb-D1b were 4.55%and 95.46%,respectively,and that of PPO-D1 was small, only accounted for 4.55%.For flour color, the proportion of Psy-B1a or Psy-B1b,TaLyc-B1b and Psy-A1b were 95.45%,77.27%and 50%,respectively.Tamby-D1b,the main effector gene controlling seed color, was not detected in the test material, while Tamby-A1b accounted for 5.45%,and the glutinous gene Wx-B1b ac-counted for a smaller proportion of 4.54%.These functional markers had various proportions in different breeding department. In conclusion, this study identified the alleles of quality trait related genes using KASP markers,pro-vided reference for further marker-assisted selection breeding of wheat quality traits in the region.
