Effects of Dioscorea Saponins Combined with Exercise on Lipid Metabolism in Rats with Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease
This study aimed to inves tigate the effects of Dioscorea-derived dioscin combined with exercise intervention on the expression of lipid metabolism genes in the liver of rats with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD).A NAFLD rat model was established, and interventions with various doses of dioscin and exercise treatment were applied. The activity of antioxidant enzymes, lipid peroxidation levels, and the expression of genes and proteins related to lipid metabolism in the liver were measured. The results indicated that compared to the model control group, dioscin and exercise intervention significantly increased SOD and CAT activities, reduced MDA levels, and regulated the mRNA and protein expressions of genes such as SREBP1c,ACC-1,FAS,ACO,and CPT-1,correcting the lipid metabolism abnormalities in NAFLD rats. The combined intervention group showed even more significant effects, suggesting a synergistic action between dioscin and exercise, providing a new therapeutic strategy for the prevention and treatment of NAFLD.This research supports the application of dioscin in the treatment of NAFLD and its potential benefits when combined with exercise intervention.
