Garden tourism integrates nature and culture,with its core focusing on the unique utilization and com-prehensive protection of plant resources.This study systematically explores the crucial role of plant resources in garden tourism,emphasizing the synergistic relationship between plant protection and utilization and proposing the necessity of scientific management policies.Case studies analyze the experiences of successful projects,showcas-ing their achievements in the utilization and protection of plant resources.However,garden tourism faces chal-lenges such as visitor-induced plant damage,local government management issues,and the challenges of climate change and ecological environments.This study suggests approaches such as investigating visitor behavior,opti-mizing management systems,and strengthening ecological environment protection to promote the sustainable de-velopment of garden tourism.The protection and utilization of plant resources in garden tourism are key to achiev-ing industry sustainability.This research aims to provide scientific management and innovative development paths for garden tourism.
