Accumulation of Anthocyanosides in the Pulp of Xinjiang Red-fleshed Apple and the Expression of Their Related Genes
In this study,we investigated the expression levels of anthocyanins and transcription factors in the flesh of three red apple varieties,'Summer Red Flesh','Red Love'and'Kizi Alma',during five developmental stages. We used the pH difference method and real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR to provide theoretical references for the cultivation of new red apple varieties. The results showed that the anthocyanin content of'Summer Red Flesh'and'Red Love'had a peak at the young fruit stage and one at the late fruit development stage, while the antho-cyanin content of Kizi Alma accumulated gradually with fruit development and reached a peak at fruit ripening;the expression peaks of anthocyanin synthesis genes ANS,CHI and DFR were 30 d or 130 d after flowering and 130 d after flowering.ANS,CHI and DFR are the key structural genes for anthocyanin synthesis in red flesh ap-ples,and MYB10 plays a dominant role in anthocyanin synthesis in the three Xinjiang red flesh apples.
