Foenumoside B and Aerobic Exercise Collaborate to Improve Liver Lipid Metabolism Disorder in Rats with Hyperlipidemia
This study aimed to investigate the effects of the synergistic intervention of Foenumoside B(FB),a major active component from Lysimachia foenum-graecum extract, and aerobic exercise(AE)on lipid metabolism disorder in the liver of rats with hyperlipidemia(HLP).A rat model of hyperlipidemia induced by a high-fat diet was established, and rats were randomly divided into control,HLP,AE,FB,and FB+AE combined intervention groups. The study observed changes in blood lipid levels, the expression of genes related to lipid metabolism in the liver, and liver tissue pathology among the groups. The results showed that, compared to using FB or AE alone, the combined intervention of FB and AE was more effective in reducing blood lipid levels, regulating the expression of lipid metabolism-related genes such as ACAT1,DGAT2,FAS,SREBP1c,PPARα,LCAT,UCP2,MCD,and CPT-1,and alleviating liver lipid accumulation and damage. This study confirmed the significant effect of the synergistic intervention of FB and AE on improving lipid metabolism disorder in HLP rats, providing a scientific basis for developing new treatment strategies for HLP.
