Cloning and Subcellular Localization of HbCPT7 Gene from Hevea brasiliensis
Cis-prenyltransferase(CPT)is one of the key enzymes that catalyzes the biosynthesis of natural rubber,in the latex cells of Hevea brasiliensis, here,we cloned HbCPT7,and analyzed the tissue expression patterns, conserved domains and subcellular localization of HbCPT7.The results of qPCR analysis showed that HbCPT7 was specifically expressed in latex. The analysis of protein conserved domains found that HbCPT7 has five highly conserved domains of the CPTs family, indicating that is a CPT enzyme with complete structure.Subcellular localization analysis showed that HbCPT7 was located in the nucleus and cytoplasm, and part of the localization signal in the cytoplasm coincided with the endoplasmic reticulum, inferred HbCPT7 was located in the endoplasmic reticulum, and participated in natural rubber biosynthesis of Hevea brasiliensis.Above results provided a clue for further exploring the function of HbCPT7.
