Sequence Characterization and Expression Analysis of 29 NAC Genes in Populus davidiana × P.alba var.pyramidlis
Transcription factor(TF)is a type of protein molecule with a special structure. It can regulate gene ex-pression and bind to a specific part, specifically expressed the target gene.NAC transcription factors are a family of the plant-specific TFs with functions in regulating the growth and development, affecting the formation of sec-ondary cell walls, and responding to abiotic stresses in plants. In this study,we obtained 29 NAC TFs from the genome database of Shanxin poplar(Populus davidiana × P.alba var.pyramidlis),identified their protein structures and physical and chemical properties and performed phylogenetic tree construction with NAC TFs of Arabidopsis. At the same time,Shanxin poplar plants treated with gibberellin as materials, the expression changes of 29 NAC genes were analyzed using RT-qPCR.This study provides a preliminary basis for further analysis of the function and regulatory mechanism of the NAC gene and improvement the genetic quality of Shanxin poplar.
