Effects of AM Fungal Inoculation on the Growth and Physiology of Dalbergia hupeana under Drought Stress
Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi(AMF)are microorganisms that can enhance plant resistance through sym-biosis with plants. In this study,in order to explore the effect of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi on the growth and drought resistance of Dalbergia hupeana, five treatments were set up,including inoculation of Funneliformis mosseae(MX),Claroideoglomus etunicatum(YT),Rhizophagus intraradices(GN),three strains of mixed inoculation(MIX),and no inoculation(CK),under the simulated natural drought conditions,to explore the effect of arbuscular mycor-rhiza on the growth and physiological and biochemical indexes of D.hupeana seedlings. The results showed that:(1)the inoculation of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi could significantly increase the total biomass, plant height and root length of D.hupeana.(2)Inoculation of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi could significantly increase the content of SOD,POD,SP and reduce the content of MDA in plants.(3)The comprehensive evaluation of the drought resis-tance of D.hupeana.under each mycorrhizal treatment was MIX>GN>YT>MX>CK.Thus it was shown that the inoculation of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi could enhance the drought resistance of D.hupeana.
