Research on Functional Applications of Plant Resources in Urban Landscape Design
This study systematically explores the multifaceted values of plant resources in urban landscape design, including their significance for ecological sustainability, improvement of urban air quality, social and cultural values, economic value, and importance for education and environmental protection. The research suggests that future urban landscape design will place greater emphasis on the ecological functions of plants to support the ecosystem services of the city. Moreover, plants will become a key tool for improving urban air quality by absorbing harmful gases and particulates, thereby protecting the health and enhancing the well-being of the population. In terms of social interaction and cultural resonance, this study believes that the selection and layout of plants can promote community involvement and cultural activities.Additionally, plants possess economic value by enhancing the value and attractiveness of urban real estate. This research argues that future urban landscape design needs to integrate technological innovation, utilizing smart systems and green infrastructure for more efficient management of plants.Overall, plants will become a core element of future urban landscape design, providing significant support for the sustainability, livability, and beauty of urban environments.
