Identification and Bioinformatics Analysis of Antioxidant Genes(OXR)in Cruciferous Plants
OXR(oxidation resistance)gene contains the TLDc conserved structural domain, which can effectively remove reactive oxygen and plays an important role in cell antioxidant damage.Based on the genomic database of seven cruciferous plants(Thellungiella halophila,Tha;Brassica rapa,Bra;Brassica oleracea,Bol;Brassica nigra,Bni;Brassica napus,Bna;Brassica juncea,Bju and Daucus carota,Dca),50 OXR gene family members of selected plants were screened and identified by comparing with six OXR gene sequences of Arab idop sis thaliana(At),and bioinformatics analysis of them was carried out.The phylogenetic tree showed that the OXR gene family members had five subbranches.Cis-acting element analysis showed that the OXR gene promoter region contained multiple cis-acting elements and binding sites in response to temperature stress and hormones, indicating that members of the OXR gene family of cruciferous plants may be involved in stress response and hormone regulation. The OXR genes were not equally distributed on chromosomes, and there were 24 pairs of OXR genes distributed on chromo-somes with tandem repeats, indicating that the OXR genes were highly conserved. This study provides a basis for further research on OXR genes in plant.
