Bioinformatics Analysis of Structure and Function of NSm Protein of Hip-peastrum Chlorotic Ringspot Orthoto spovirus
Hippeastrum chlorotic ringspot orthotospovirus(HCRV)is a virus of the genus Orthotospovirus, which harm to agricultural crops.NSm protein is a non-structural protein of HCRV.It has been proved to be a viral movement protein and a Avr factor of host resistance genes in other viruses of the same genus. However, the role of NSm in HCRV is not clear. In this study, bioinformatics analysis methods were used to analyze and predict the physical and chemical properties, spatial structure and protein-related functions of the HCRV NSm protein. The results showed that the NSm sequences of the Orthotospovirus viruses were low similarity and conservation during the evolution process;the HCRV NSm protein belonged to the 3A superfamily, and was basic and stable hy-drophilic protein without signal peptides, cleavage sites, and no span Membrane region;the protein secondary structure was mainly random coils. The function prediction results showed that NSm could combine with ATP,polymerize with the same protein, and participate in catalytic reactions, and involved in fatty acid β oxidation,DNA replication and other biological processes. The results of this study will provide important references for studying the pathogenic mechanism of HCRV.
