Genetic Diversity Analysis of Ornamental Sunflower Germplasm Based on SNP Markers
In order to improve the utilizat ion efficiency of ornamental sunflower germplasm in excellent germplasm resources exploitation. This study investigated and analyzed 10 phenotypic traits of 49 different types of ornamental sunflower inbred line, also carried out reduced-representation sequencing on ornamental sunflower germplasm resources by specific length amplified fragment sequencing(SLAF-seq technology)and studied the ge-netic diversity. The results showed that the coefficient of variation of phenotypic traits were in the range of 16.82%~56.62%,and the average coefficient of variation of phenotypic traits was 30.23%,the average diversity index was 1.34,the average diversity index of quantitative traits was 1.83,and the average diversity index of qualitative traits was 0.85.The results showed that the collected phenotypic diversity of ornamental sunflower germplasms was rich, which was beneficial to breeding high-quality ornamental sunflower varieties in breeding program.A total of 21.3 Gb read data, the read length of each sample ranged from 1 411 504 to 3 129 308,28 531 SNP sites with MAF value greater than 0.05 and 34 005 SNP reliabile sites, among which there were obtained by using SLAF-seq technology.Clustering analysis based on 10 phenotypic traits divided the 49 accessions of ornamental sunflower germplasm re-sources into 2 categories, similar to the results gained based on SNP clustering analysis.Population structure analy-sis and PCA analysis all divided these 49 accessions of ornamental sunflower germplasm resources into two groups, indicated phenotypic variations in the selected germplasm resources and high genetic diversity within the population. The results of this study will provide theoretical basis for the improvement of ornamental sunflower germplasm resources and the breeding of superior varieties.
