The Impact of Tourism Activities on Plant Communities and Diversity in Nature Reserves
This study explores the impact of tourism activities on plant communities and diversity in Hainan Man-grove Nature Reserve.Research has found that physical disturbances caused by tourism activities, such as pedestri-an construction, garbage generation, and direct trampling by tourists, have led to soil compaction, vegetation de-struction,and microclimate changes in Hainan Mangrove Nature Reserve. These changes seriously affect the nor-mal growth and population renewal of plants.Meanwhile, tourism activities increase the risk of invasive alien species, which may suppress local plant species and alter the composition and diversity of plant communities. The study emphasizes the importance of continuous monitoring and scientific management, and points out that through scientific management measures and public participation, the impact of tourism activities on mangrove ecosystems can be effectively reduced. This study aims to provide a basis for developing more scientific and effective tourism management and plant protection strategies, while also providing reference for sustainable tourism development and ecological protection in mangrove protected areas worldwide.
