This study aimed to investigate the effects of physcion(PHY),a major active component from rhubarb, combined with vibration training(VT)on the biomechanics and bone metabolism in rats with glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis(OP).An OP rat model was used to evaluate the effects of both individual and combined treatments of PHY and VT on the femoral RANK-RANKL-OPG signaling system,as well as on bone density, bone morphology, and antioxidant enzyme activity. The results showed that combined treatment with PHY and VT significantly increa-sed bone density, improved bone tissue microstructure, reduced the expression of RANK and RANKL,enhanced the levels of OPG,and increased antioxidant enzyme activity while reducing oxidative stress. These findings sug-gest that the combination of physcion and vibration training can effectively improve the biomechanical properties and bone metabolism in glucocorticoid-induced OP rats, offering a potential new strategy for the treatment of OP.
