The Impact of Plant Pattern Diversity on Landscape Environmental Adaptability
As urbanization accelerates, urban ecosystems face significant challenges, among which the mainte-nance of plant diversity is crucial. This study aims to explore the application of plant pattern diversity in urban landscapes and its impact on environmental adaptability.Through the analysis of typical cases both domestically and internationally, such as New York's High Line and the UK's Eden Project, this study systematically assesses how plant pattern diversity can enhance urban environmental adaptability by improving biodiversity, microclimate, green space hydrological regulation functions, and urban cultural values. The findings reveal that plant pattern di-versity not only promotes the enhancement of ecosystem services but also significantly improves residents'quality of life, playing a vital role in promoting sustainable urban development. The results of this study are expected to provide a scientific basis for the design of urban green space systems and promote the optimization of urban green infrastructure.
