Assessment of the Impact of Ecotourism on Plant Biodiversity and Its Protection Effect
Hainan Jianfengling Tropical Rainforest has become an ideal location for studying the combination of ecotourism and environmental protection due to its rich biodiversity and unique ecosystem.Through an in-depth analysis of the conservation measures, management strategies, and implementation effects of ecotourism in the Jianfengling, this study examines the positive and negative impacts of ecotourism on biodiversity conservation. The study found that ecotourism activities in Jianfengling have had a positive impact on protecting plant diversity by raising public awareness of environmental protection, increasing economic funds for protected areas, and promoting local community participation in protection efforts. However, improper tourism management and excessive tourist flow may also cause damage to plant habitats, affecting the structure and function of plant communities. Therefore, balancing the relationship between ecotourism and environmental protection has become a major challenge for Jianfengling. This article compares the experiences and lessons learned from Jianfengling with other tropical rainforest protected areas worldwide, and explores future development trends and improvement directions.Research has shown that Jianfengling needs to further optimize tourism management measures, use modern technology to improve monitoring and management efficiency, and strengthen the implementation of protection strategies through international cooperation to achieve harmonious coexistence between ecotourism and biodiversity protection.
