Genetic Diversity Analysis of Ginger(Zingiber officinale)Germplasm Re-sources Based on ISSR Molecular Marker
This study focused on ginger(Zingiber officinale),and conducted a genetic diversity analysis using IS-SR molecular markers on 67 germplasm resources widely cultivated in China.Eight primers were selected from 100 ISSR primers, and it was proved that the amplified bands showed clear, good repeatability and high polymor-phism.A total of 255 bands were obtained,of which as many as 253 polymorphic loci with 99.22%percent poly-morphic loci were obtained. The observed number of alleles(Na),effective number of alleles(Ne),Nei's gene di-versity index(H),and Shannon's information index(Ⅰ)of 67 ginger samples were 1.909 1 to 12.000 0,1.379 1 to 1.626 9,0.239 0 to 0.360 6,and 0.378 5 to 0.536 0,respectively.And the mean values for these parameters were 1.988 6,1.525 4,0.310 5,and 0.472 5,respectively.The genetic distance ranged from 0.023 8 to 0.666 1,with an average of 0.392 2.UPGMA clustering indicated the partitioning of the 67 germplasms into 7 groups when the ge-netic coefficient was 0.71.These findings provide a scientific foundation for the further development and utiliza-tion of ginger germplasm resources. The study holds significant reference value for understanding the genetic di-versity of ginger and its applications in the field of breeding.
