Cross-Cultural Management Strategies in Transnational Seed Industry Mergers and Acquisitions
With the accelerated development of globalization,cross-border mergers and acquisitions(M&A)in the seed industry have become increasingly frequent.Cultural differences have emerged as one of the key factors influencing the success of international M&As.This study explores effective cross-cultural management strategies and their impact on the success of mergers by analyzing three specific cases:the merger between Bayer and Mon-santo,ChemChina's acquisition of Syngenta,and the merger between Limagrain and Eureka Seeds Inc.The re-search indicates that by implementing cross-cultural training,building diversified management teams,enforcing in-clusive policies,and adopting adaptive communication strategies,cultural conflicts can be effectively mitigated,post-merger integration efficiency can be enhanced,thereby strengthening the global competitiveness of enterpris-es.This study will contribute to a more systematic understanding and implementation of cross-cultural manage-ment strategies,promoting the sustainable development and innovation of multinational seed companies.
