Identification of Long Non-coding RNAs of Pteroceltis tatarinowii in Response to Different Nitrogen Application Levels
Pteroceltis tatarinowii being successfully employed as a pioneer tree species in restoration projects in limestone mountain, has phloem fibers that are used as the main material to manufacture the world famous Xuan paper.Four bioinformatics softwares,PLEK,CNCI,CPC2,Pfam,were employed to predict protein-coding potential for the 11 801 genes generated based on the SMRT-seq data. Finally 5 077,3 299,2 202,2 878 long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs)were obtained with the four bioinformatics softwares, respectively, while 1 161 lncRNAs with minimum length of 200 nt and maximum length of 4 122 nt were gained from the intersection of the four groups of data by making Venn diagram. Most of the lncRNAs,92.33%of the total, have length between 200 and 1 000 nt.The results of the study provide a reference for further research on the molecular mechanism of nitrogen response of P.tatarinowii.
