Phenotypic Diversity Analysis and Comprehensive Evaluation of 62 Cymbidium ensifolium Resources
T o improve the utilization efficiency of C.ensifolium germplasms, genetic diversity analysis were conducted based on 41 phenotypic traits of 62 C.ensifolium germplasms. The results showed that the phenotypic diversity of C.ensifolium germplasms was rich and the variation of quantitative characters was high. The coefficient of variation(Cv)ranged from 15.6%to 30.0%,and the highest value of Cv was detected in flower length. The Shannon-Weaver indexes(I)of qualitative traits ranged from 0.19 to 1.72,and the I value of all the color characters was higher;leaves with no curing and art, peduncle anthocyanin coloration with no color, sepals, petals, lips and columns with spots.11 principal components were extracted by principal component analysis(PCA),the cumulative contribution rate reached 79.421%,which could reflect the integral phenotype of C.ensifolium germplasms. All the resources were comprehensively assessed by means of PCA,and C.ensifolium'Hongcaohonghe'had the best comprehensive performance.Based on cluster analysis, all the accessions were classified into two major groups when the Euclidean distance was 8.4.The first category included 23 C.ensifolium germplasms with plain heart mainly, and the second category had rich color and pattern. The results provided a theoretical basis for better understanding and utilization of C.ensifolium germplasms.
