Dynamic Analysis of Fruit Growth and Development of'Puyu'Kiwifruit
In order to explore the law of fruit development of'Puyu'kiwifruit in the northern foot of piedmont of Xi'an Qinling,the single fruit weight,length and diameter of fruit,soluble solid,hardness,titratable acid,dry mate-rial,and fresh color were studied of 6-year-old'Puyu'kiwifruit from fruit setting to fruit ripenning,and the dynamic curve of'Puyu'kiwifruit development was established.The results showed that the fruit weight,vertical and hori-zontal diameter,soluble solids,and dry matter content were increased from 26 to 195 days after flowering(DAF).The fruit weight increases rapidly within 76 DAF,which is the first expanding period during the fruit development;the dry matter increases rapidly at 55~97 DAF,and the average daily increase is 0.12%,increase to 14.13%;single fruit weight and dry matter content increased slowly after 139 DAF;soluble solids increased and the titrable acid content decreased rapidly after 154 DAF;fruit firmness decreased sharply after 162 DAF.Considering the fruit in-dex of single fruit weight,soluble solids,hardness,dry matter,etc.,the optimum picking time of'Puyu'kiwifruit is about 154 DAF.The results of this study provide a theoretical basis for the promotion of high-quality and high-yield'Puyu'kiwifruit in Shaanxi and its surrounding areas.
