The"Corridor Phenomenon"is increasingly becoming a key measure to fill infrastructure gaps and promote regional integration in Afri-ca.Since the introduction of the"Spatial Development Initiatives",the con-struction of African economic corridors has undergone a process of expansion from point to area, and now it is entering a new phase of institutionalization and high standards. The convergence of trends in economic geography and develop-ment studies has broadened the inherent meaning of development cooperation, and economic corridors,by their very nature, are playing important roles in de-velopment cooperation.Economic corridors influence development cooperation through the dual conceptual mechanisms of development vitality and develop-ment endurance, which independently operate in the dimensions of individuals and departments, forming concrete operational mechanisms.Through case stud-ies of representative corridors in five African regions, this article finds that al-though the economic corridors have significantly enhanced development vitality in promoting Africa's development cooperation, they also show development endurance that needs to be replenished. The future of Africa's"Corridor Phe-nomenon"requires greater attention to its sustainable development cooperation outcomes.
