5G NR组播广播与地面广播协同传输方案研究

5G 广播技术分为两种演进路线:一是3GPP在R16中确立的基于4G长期演进(LTE-based)的地面广播技术,简称5G地面广播;二是3GPP在R17和R18中确立的基于5G新空口(NR-based)的组播广播标准,简称5G-MBS.为了进一步实现广播业务对海量移动手持终端的大范围深覆盖,本文提出一种5G-MBS与地面广播协同传输技术和方案,并基于此方案给出了评估准则和优化方法.仿真表明该方案相较单独的5G-MBS方案或大塔地面广播方案具有更优性能,能满足大范围手机终端广播业务的深覆盖.
Research on Collaborative Transmission Scheme of 5G NR Multicast Broadcasting and Terrestrial Broadcasting
5G broadcasting technology is divided into two evolution routes:one is the 4G long-term(LTE-based)evolution based terrestrial broadcasting technology established by 3GPP in the Rel-16 version,and the other is NR-based 5G-MBS established by 3GPP in the Rel-17 and Rel-18 versions.To provide broadcasting services to massive mobile handheld terminals with capabilities of wide-range and deep coverage,this paper proposes a collaborative 5G-MBS and terrestrial broadcasting scheme for handheld mobile reception,and evaluation criteria and optimization methods are given based on this scheme.The simulation results show that the collaborative broadcasting scheme is better than the single 5G-MBS scheme or terrestrial broadcasting scheme and can meet the deep coverage of a large range of handheld mobile terminals broadcasting services.
