Application and Practice of Weakly Directional Medium Wave Antenna in Bottom Insulated Self-supporting Tower
The important goal of the relocation and construction of Medium Wave(MW)transmitter stations is to ensure the coverage effect of MW broadcasting in the main service areas.In this paper,we introduce the construction of a weakly directional antenna based on the bottom insulated self-supporting tower.This scheme optimizes the coverage range by adding reflective rays without increasing the transmission power,while effectively reducing investment costs and floor space.This article focuses on technical schemes,project construction,coverage effect evaluation,emergency plans,and other aspects of the elaboration,providing useful reference for peers.
