Research on Selection of Medium Wave Broadcasting Transmitting Antennas
At present, many of the transmission antennas used by many medium wave broadcasting stations in our province are still cable tower antennas built in the 1970s and 1980s,with long service life and significant safety hazards. At the same time, some stations are facing relocation. In order to save land resources and improve the comprehensive utilization rate of transmission antennas,it is planned to upgrade and transform some mast-type cable antennas into self-supporting tower antennas. This article focuses on analyzing the technical factors and overall planning that need to be considered in the selection and distribution of antenna types and positioning when planning the replacement and transformation of transmission antennas for medium wave relay stations with multiple working frequencies, complex geographical environments in the transmission site area, and multiple transmission antennas.Other medium wave stations can also refer to it when transforming and replacing transmission antennas.
