Exploration and Practice of Digital AM Broadcasting Testing at Two Transmission Stations
Through the implementation of Digital Radio Mondiale(DRM)technology trials and practices at two transmission stations in Guangdong Province,the potential of DRM in enhancing listening coverage effects,reducing energy consumption,and minimizing electromagnetic interference has been verified.The experiments demonstrated that DRM has a significant counter-effect against co-frequency AM signals and shows superior coverage performance in various transmission paths and coverage environments,with notable energy-saving effects.This trial provides data support for further testing and evaluation of DRM broadcasting.
