Rapid construction technology for explosion compaction of ultra long dike on deep-water soft foundation
The reinforcement and treatment of soft foundations on deep-water and thick silt is difficult, and the offshore construction conditions are complex, which has always been a difficulty in soft foundation treatment engineering. In the construction of a sloping dike in a fishing port, the explosive replacing method is adopted due to the characteristics of thick silt layer, large amount of dumping and filling, and large length of the dike. The total length of the breakwater is 2 180 m and the amount of riprap is 4.34 million m3.In order to accelerate the construction speed, two artificial islands with a size of 36 m×36 m were constructed and the simultaneous working faces have been added. The construction of the closure section is carried out using the sub-embankment widening method, with a width of 8m and the closure was completed from the inner side to the outer side.Through settlement point observation and borehole sampling, the construction of the breakwater has achieved good quality results, which can provide reference experience for similar projects. With precise design and strict construction, the construction period and quality of the dike have been guaranteed, providing reference experience for similar projects.
