Technical study on accurate-boundary cutting in baseboard excavating of main equipment room in pumped storage power station
When excavating baseboard of main equipment room in pumped storage power station, the requirement to planeness and integrality of reserved rock are high. The traditional blasting methods have disadvantages such as poor accuracy of excavating boundary, large charge amount, severe damage to the reserved rock, great impact on environment, and so on.To overcome these disadvantages,a blasting method is put forward to achieve accurate-boundary cutting on hard rock,in which the blasting holes drilled horizontally along the baseboard boundary are grooved and dotty shaped charge are set bilaterally along the groove.Firstly, the parameters of shaped charge filled by industrial explosives are optimized by orthogonal numerical simulation method. Then, shaped charge cutting devices are assembled using the optimized parameters and tested at a blasting site. The test result shows a precisely positioned penetrating cracks are created between blasting holes using the blasting method proposed in this paper, when linear charge density of the cutting devices is 150 g/m and hole spacing is 0.5 m.Compared with traditional blasting methods, this method can ensure accurate cutting boundary. Also,by using the proposed method, charge quantity is cut down, damage degree of the reserved rock and impact on the surrounding environment is reduced.
