Application of Comprehensive Geophysical Exploration Method and Detection Technology in Dam Seepage Detection
Although pseudo-random flow field method has been widely used in dam leakage detection and has achieved outstanding results, the sole use of this method often fails to ac-curately identify the dam leakage point and leakage channel. This paper, based on the pseu-do-random flow field method, integrates the underwater robot, borehole panoramic image, seismic wave CT and other geophysical exploration methods and detection techniques to a-chieve a comprehensive and accurate detection of dam leakage points and leakage channels.Firstly, the pseudo-random flow field method is used to delineate the latent area of dam leak-age.Secondly,for the detected underwater leakage area of the dam,the underwater robot is used to carry out photography,two-dimensional sonar imaging, and inkjet tracer tracking and detection to determine the seepage point of the underwater dam. Finally, the seismic wave CT imaging and borehole panoramic images are carried out to identify the structural plane and leakage point of the dam.The method presented in this paper has been applied to the seepage detection of a dam in western Sichuan, and has accurately detected the seepage point of the dam and identified several seepage channels existing in the dam,and achieved good results in practical application. The application results can be used for reference to the of similar leakage detection.
