Application of Comprehensive Geophysical Methods in Deep Geothermal Exploration in Huai'an Depression
In recent years,various regions have increased their development in geothermal re-sources,and exploration methods for shallow geothermal resources have been enriched.However,there are relatively few exploration methods for deep geothermal resources.This paper takes geothermal exploration in the Huai'an depression area as an example,which has geological characteristics such as thick coverage layer,shallow surface water,and deep buri-al depth of geothermal water resources.Under the above geological conditions,taking into account the differences in electrical properties and velocity within the regional strata,a com-prehensive use of controllable source audio magnetotelluric and micro motion methods was a-dopted.Guided by geophysical data,by inverting and interpreting the profile data of two ge-ophysical methods,identifying the approximate location of geological fault zones in the ex-ploration area,and interpreting the dispersion layer of micro motion single points in the ab-normal area to more reliably determine the location of thermal energy storage.the layout of geothermal drilling was determined.After drilling verification,the selection of geophysical exploration methods can solve the problem of geothermal resource exploration in the Huai'an depression area.At the same time,it provides favorable references for searching for geother-mal resources under the same geological conditions in northern Jiangsu,and provides effec-tive scientific,reasonable,safe,and reliable means for urban energy development.
